Dom Pérignon x NICHOLAS BRAWER
In 2018, the firm was charged with conceptualizing and executing the four-city launch of Dom Pérignon’s Vintage 2002 Plénitude 2, and for the occasion to also be used as the introduction of the champagne house’s new Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon.
The firm secured four exceptional private residences for the events that took place in San Francisco, Dallas, New York and Chicago, and brought in partners who added elements to each event, furthering the guest experience and enhancing the narrative of the evening, as they so often do for these types of exclusive programs.
One of the partners the firm procured was the incredible Nicholas Brawer, renowned dealer of coveted antique telescopes. The purpose of securing Nicholas’ presence with several restored, historically-significant telescopes was to connect the undeniable biodynamic link between the astronomic universe and mother nature. The telescopes and Nicholas’ expert guidance on what to look for in the star-filled sky at each location provided the opportunity for guests to witness the moon and the stars in that moment, reminding them that they too were simply energy in the universe.
By gently utilizing the scientific and romantic references to the shared connection with the cosmos and the natural and energetic readiness of The Second Plenitude that guests were tasting, the experience was made more meaningful and a deep and humanistic connection was made.
